WestLake Dirt Jumps
Bozeman’s Westlake dirt jumps have been and continue to be centerpiece of the local biking community for years to come. They’re a gathering place, a place for riders to push their freestyle skills, and an outdoor space for the neighborhood in the center of the city.
Unfortunately, as Midtown Bozeman has developed, new construction and infrastructure upgrades forced half the features to be destroyed. That’s the bad news.
The good news is SWMMBA and its partners facilitated the rebuilding of these amazing jumps—bigger and better than ever.
With Integrated Trail Lab leading the project design and construction, the park upholds to PTBA standards and surpasses expectations. The City of Bozeman helped significantly in curating this partnership and even kicked in a bunch of cash to get the project started and finished, not to mention designer Richard Hayes has generously donated the design work as well as contractor services on the build.
A shortened timeline ;
